Raptor vs. Air Dog

My lift pump is bad. I have a stock 2003 2500 2wd 6sp manual with 108,000. I do not plan on doing any mods in the future. I've been debating with myself Raptor vs. Air Dog. Is the extra money and install effort for the Air Dog worth it for my app? I am open to other suggestions.

can't beat the filtration with air separation with the AD.

You can installed the Raptor and use the Baldwin pf7977 (5 micron) stock replacement filter for better filtration.

The Raptor would make for an easier install if you modified your stock canister to remove the pump or go with the Liberty canister, you could draw from the stock supply and not have to worry about plumbing the AD return into the canister...
... or you could wait for the "new and improved" AD which makes the install easier.

The new raptor kits include a adapter to hook up to the stock fuel tank canister and an adapter to hook up to the stock fuel filter.

Im going with a Raptor here pretty soon, only because I have some filter bases/filters lying around and ill just plum one inline before it goes into the stock canister for fuel heating/water seperation. Probably wont run more than 18-20psi anyway, so the stock cap should be fine too.

I voted for other as I have had really good luck with my Glacier 392 walbro set up. It doesn't have the extra filtration though. With the airdogs on sale for 499 I would probably go that route.

My Raptor 100....and Smarty Sr.....showed up today. Can't wait to get them both installed! I'm also going to do a Glacier Diesel big line kit from the stock filter housing to the CP3. Should be plenty for what I want. So obviously I vote Raptor.
