I will find the instructions that came with mine. Pretty sure the red is gauge power(12v), white is lighting(12v) and the grey is ground wire. I will find it before I go to work in the am. On mine I turned the light control pod up and used the dimmer wiring to power light. Works fine that way and dims with other gauges.

ok, thanks, double check that is i am pretty sure thats what i tried, and didn't get any back lighting, and poped the illumination fuse under the hood.
what are normal reading aswell?at say idle and under driving conditions, and maybe wide open?

That is the correct use for the wires:
red - 12v gauge power
white - 12v gauge illumination
grey - chassis ground
The kit came with an inline fuse that goes on the 12v gauge power, as far away from gauge as possible per instructions.

Do you mean a fuse in the power control module (formerly known as fuse box)? If so what fuse #, look inside the cover for fuse definitions.
Kind of sounds like a dead short in the wiring or gauge somewhere.

fuse number i can't remember, but it is a 15amp fuse, for the illumination. i keep blowing it, does the gauge cluster back lighting and such. i am using a wire i had hook up awhile ago behind the light switch. i am pretty sure it is off the dimmer switch.i haven't had gauges other then my TST and Boost hook up since the dealer had my dash aprt to fix/break my AC.i am wondering if something is now rubbing behind there shorting out. or maybe i can't pull the power from the dimmer on that gauge.i am going to try a different gauge to see if i can make it light.don't make sense.

i only have the 12 v red wire hooked up right now, and it seems to be working, rail pressure is about 15,000psi, at steady 60mph, around 5000psi at idle.
