Quietest Muffler
Looking for a quiet straight thru 4". I'm running straight pipe right now and the police here don't like it. So I need something to quiet it down almost to stock level, but not lose any flow?

Well mines in the mail right now so i can't say from personal expierence YET, but, i've been doing a ton of research and decided to give the MBRP replacement muffler (MK96116) a try. I don't want anything near straight pipe loud but a nice deep diesel rumble, sounds like this was the muffler to do it...

Yes it will. I have a 3500 with the kitty and I am going to install a 51" soon. I had mine on the rack the other day and measured the room and it will fit with the kittty with a few inches to spare.

Friday I installed the MBRP #MK96116 and love it. It is not overly loud but sounds good. I just hit 270 miles on new muffler and it seems that I am doing better on fuel economy. Turbo seems a tad louder. Best $145.00 I ever spent. I got it from DTR.

I took my kitty out so it should fit fine. Our company owns about 19 western star's, so I should be able to get a deal. I can probally even find one in the shop somewhere. You guy's running a 4" in/out, or a 5" coupled down to a 4"?
