Quick head stud install question
I'll be doing mine here soon and had one quick question. How far do you put the studs into the block? From everything I have read I was going to bottom them out finger tight, then back off 1/2 turn. Does this sound right? These are the reqular ARP studs and not the 625's. Also, what is a good final torque? 125 seems to be the norm.

i went ahead and went finger tight backed off around a eight to quarter turn and torqued to 135 Ft Lbs. due to a thread i seen a while back that Don M wrote up on the regular ARP studs stating they didnt stretch till upwards of 180 ft lbs so i figured 10 extra wouldnt hurt.
