Thanks for help you guys!

Well I got it in....the HMR street drag eliminates everything...there is no spacer for this set-up.

the return plumbs to the top radiator hose...

I only drove it 10-15 miles tonight but I think I dare say this HMR Street Drag shifts FASTER then my stock clutch!!!!

Finaly, somebody else that will agree that a dd can be shifted as fast if not faster than stock.

Congrats on the new clutch Mark. Keep us posted on how you like it.

Good deal! I know that is the same clutch I am going with as soon as I can scrape up the dough. I can believe they shift faster, the discs are very light weight on the street drag. Not only will it be easier to shift but your tranny will like you too.

Haisley has been around for a lot of years in the diesel performance scene. Haisley and South Bend are the only two I would ever use for a double disc. They have been proven time and time again to hold up to the abuse us CTD owners put clutches through

I actually wouldn't mind a little MORE pedal pressure, the hydraulics on the stock clutch feel kinda mushy IMO...

Haisley's are a little more then a SBC..but SBC just emailed us a price increase and it put's the SBC real close to the same price as the HMR Street Drag...SBC or Haisley would be a great clutch choice either way you go you will be happy.

it does have a neutral rattle(idleing in neutral) but I expected that since it is a DD clutch.
the pedal is just a little more firm then stock...it feels nice

Just so there is no confusion, I am runnin an SBC 3600 12cb with the sprung hub. The HMR may be faster, but I am runnin a differant clutch and I can shift it faster than stock. I think a lot of people get hung up on how slow DDs shift and that is not always the case.

Not trying to talk you out of a Haisley cause I almost got one of those instead, just wanted to make the above point.

Hey Mark, wheres the burn out vid?????

I dont feel like I lost anything in the shift speed. I liked it enough to send mine back after I roasted my #3600. Peter swears that if you go bigger than #3600 you WILL lose shift speed. So I went with the same thing again.

Mark you runnin the 2nd gen Hydrolics or the stocker? That was a high recommendation when I orered mine the first time.

The more i drive my SB 3600 12CB the better it gets, and im with all of ya when u say it shifts just as fast as stock if not faster! Pedal pressure is a bit more than stock but im use to it now!

Glad u got er in Mark, i though the back of the flywheel looked like it stuck out more!
