Question for Quad - Re: Commander boost tap
Quad,
I'm getting funny boost readings on occasion and think its probably caused by the tap on the boost sensor. No running issues with the truck just funny readings. While accelerating, it will linger on 0 psi boost, then immediately jump up to 15 psi or so, then bounce around erratically and so fast you can't tell what its saying. Other times it reads perfectly. I assume the wire tap isn't making the best connection which leads to my question:
Can I pull back some of the insulation on the module harness and solder a short pigtail to it without screwing up module operation?
Thanks!

Yeah, you can hook it up any way you want really. Just make sure the ingintion is off before you do anything!
The taps work pretty well for the most part but, sometimes if they get messed with much or twisted around they do not make the best connection.
