I'm not sure if they make an on road shock in that size. I would just leave it the way it is. If you start getting bad wheel hop when your on the throttle, and don't like to back off then I would get a new leaf pack. Just remember your driving a lifted H.D. 4x4 they aren't supposed to ride like a caddy.

If my assumptions are correct, then yes. You could definitely benefit from a softer coil. The shock you have is a good shock so it may be okay to use with a softer coil. But without knowing spring rates and valving profiles its really hard to say.

so in other words it will be smoother off road than on road?

not sure about that bumping sound your hear. You shouldn't be hitting those bump stops just from going over the speed bump.

Yes it should. Those shocks will be able to handle the bumps and dips better then your factory shocks could. Now i'm not telling you to go out to the desert and start jumping your truck out there and start hitting the whoops at 40+ MPH.

I have yet to be in one then. I'll have to admit that from the factory these trucks do ride nice.

I had a 97 Ram 2500 V10 That had a Dick Cepek lift on it with the dual shocks on each side. You could feel ever single pebble on the road in that truck.

ahaha obviously nothing that crazy.

well since the shock are good maybe just replacing the coil over with a softer one would help

should i try unscrewing those rubber bumps to see if it takes away that sound?

If you are hitting those bumps your ride should be really stiff and they should bounce you up a little bit.

yup- superlift is not known for soft coils. what tire pressure are you running? those toyos are not exactly a soft compound tire either. not too many people do a 6" lift with 37's to get a nice comfy highway ride, so other than some psi tweeking with those tires, that's pretty much what your ride is going to be.

there's not much out there in 6" springs that will be much different. don thuren said he could have a 4" pair made for my truck, but i would need to run king shocks with them.

I can see where they welded the extensions onto the factory sway bar links. Why in the world would they do that? Those links just screw on. As for the bumpstops, I was under the impression that the factory bumpstops were to be reused and then a drop bracket was installed to lower them. My bump stops look nothing like those.

i have to admit im kind of disappointed with my lift

i can live with the blocks in the back but i really just want to make the front softer.

p.s. that is power steering fluid on everywhere. i realized today that my cap was gone and went to my local dealer and had to order one. this is the second time that cap has come off. the first time is was because jiffy lube didn't put it back on all the way and it fell off when i was driving and now i think it might have been the shop that put my lift on. not 100% positive but they did reset all my radio presets-turn my sub off-and now that i have it back on it doesnt hit as hard anymore.

That's probably because they disconnected the battery cables.
