I must never get winter fuel here because my mileage barely drops in the winter and that is probably because I let it idle more.
Tell me about it.

Yup, OAA is right at 16.5mpg. I haven't had such a bad tank in a long time.

I haven't run any long trips in a long while. They're where I get the higher numbers >16

Yuck!

I have only ever had economy that low once (not towing) and it was bad fuel, I could feel it in lack of power and well the mileage was nasty.

Hi guys! I have been wondering about this little box for a long time. My driving habit is pretty conservative most of the time except when I get a wild hair to stomp it. I have checked my mileage at times on my 05 Dually 4x4 6spd and have always been between 19.2 to 19.8 mpg. That is handcalculated. Mix of city and highway. My truck is pretty much stock.

I was reading along till AH started in on the physics stuff and it lost me. Someone give him a professors position. He's a smart ombre(if spelt right) My question is..would this box increase my mpg anymore based on the high mileage I am already getting?

Road trip numbers

17.5
18.9
18.5

Tail wind half the tank, head wind the other - for all three. Real windy weather this week. Felt like I was driving a 4x8 sheet of plywood.

I do need to switch the tune one of these days to the regular MPG tune which works in the highway rpm range. I might be able to creep close to 20mpg with a head wind.

Yeah, I'm fixin' to pull it off. I'm done with it. I was going to switch the program from City to Factory and try it for a while. But you need an XP operating system on whatever computer and none of our laptops here have it.

Besides, I need to run the truck to the dealership to take care of the recall stuff. Those guys will plug their doohickey into anyone's data port!
