Quadzilla Commander Water Temperature Question

For the last few weeks my Commander water temperature reads 222* every time I start the truck, while driving it will go back and forth between 222 & 223 and that's it, no more no less. Do I have a lose wire somewhere, what should I be checking.

Probably bad connection on the water temp tap. Try to pull it apart and re-tap it and see if that works.

X2 had the same problem. Before you retap disconnect at the coolant sensor and reconnect making sure the connector goes together correctly. It is easy to have the male side go in on one side or the other of the female connector incorrectly. Look at it and you will see what I mean. Good luck.

Mine always reads between 180-190, check the ground also.

Just wanted to say thanks Guys, I took it off the temperature sender, pulled the insulation back a bit with a knife, snapped it back on and it works fine. Should I be putting a little grease or something on the connector, I did see a little rust in there. I really like my Commander, (wish they could fix this fuel pressure problem) thanks again Guys.

A little dielectric grease on electrical connections can't hurt and will help prevent corrosion.
