I have a question what fuel pressure would be normal for an 05. What is the lowest pressure before there is a concern? I have seen my on long grades pulling 14,000# down to 1 psi.

I think at 1 p.s.i. you should be concerned. If I'm not mistaken 5-6 p.s.i. should be the bare minimum.

Well the newer pumps are low pressure, high volume. Most of the trucks with the in tank pump will see in the 5-6psi range at idle and then it will pull down to 1-2psi. I would try not to let it run to 0 though. The older pumps are a little different than the newer ones.

The commander works great and is easy to install, just don't listen to the truck radio like I did when you install it or it will turn on the check engine light and throught a bunch of codes
