You have to install an EGT probe in order to monitor EGT's, the same go's for boost, temp, fuel pressure etc.

The install is really pretty easy.

We do not use the OBD as there is not much info we want from there at this point in time. There are some accessories being worked on that will utilize the OBD port in the near future.

For transmission, EGT, and accurate boost you either need to install a sensor, or go directly to the factory sensor.

Install is simple though. You have a 12v power wire and a ground. Install a thermocouple (ours uses plugs to connect it to the leadwire and plugs to connect the leadwire to the gauge). Then install your trans temp sensor. Now you have 3 wires to connect. First connect to the transmission, then to the MAP sensor, and last the coolant sensor and you are done.

I can do them in 30-45 minutes if no one bothers me. IF you wanted to really take your time double that any you should be finished.

Fuel pressure and Rail Pressure come together as an add on. It is pretty in-expensive, but you have to talk to your dealer or vendor about pricing.

The Commander comes with everything needed to monitor EGT, Boost, Coolant and transmission temp and control and de-fuel our modules.

The Fuel pressure kit comes with a stainless tapped banjo bolt, fuel pressure sender (0-100psi) and the harness to watch rail pressure as well. It is under 3 digits, FYI.

OK, so this will allow full control of a Bull Dog Triple Dog, without the Outlook Monitor? If it is I'm REEEEEEEALLY interested! The Juice is nice, but I love the USB upgradability of the TD, and now of this Commander. Oh, and are you going to offer any kind of molded pillar mount?

Overall this thing looks SWEET!

It works fine with a TripleDog, but it does not control it at all. WE do not do anything with the downloaders.

We do have a company building some a-pillar mounts and as soon as we haeva better grip on release dates of the plastics I will let everyone know.

Hookup

So you say you have to hook up the stock sensor. How do you do this? Do you have a plug that goes on the sensor and then the factory plug goes into this? Or is there some other way?
Jimmy.
PS If it's not to difficult maybee you could share an install guide with pictures?

I got my order in Monday thru Lary. I went ahead and picked up the fuel pressure kit while I was at it. Now I just need to figure out a way to hide it from the old lady. Gonna be hard with that big screen up on the dash...

Instructions are coming to the web. WE build the instructions on a MAC and we have to convert them to PDF on a PC. WE can publish them to a PDF on teh MAC, but it requires us to publish each page individually.

They will be up ASAP.
