I have it on the side closest to the front of the truck.
BTW--of course I turned it up and jumped on the throttle...just once
I'm new to 3rd gens...is that "timing rattle" I heard? I think it was around 2100-2500 rpms or so. (didn't catch the tach...busy watching black smoke
) It won't make that sound stock.

clarson80, glad you got yours working...
I didn't do anything other then you did, but my Pulse will not show a display.
Tried all of Qzilla's suggestions.
guess I'll be calling Quad on Monday to get a different 1.....

Did you try to download an update into it?
Probably a lot of things you are hearing! More boost, more timing, more rail pressure etc! These motors are so quiet that any little changes make a big difference!

Yes I tried everything.
I tried the update like you said, it says "no commanders were detected"
its not recognized by the software.
just a back light when connected by USB, just like in the truck.
I removed it all from the truck and put the MM box back on for now, truck runs fine just like before...
can i just return the whole thing to you and you can send me 1 that is tested good before shipping? Please

Just put on the latest pulse update this weekend and it seems to be working perfect.
Only thing I would change is I would still like the beep back for level changes Quad.

In reading through all your posts, I cound not help but smile!
Almost word for word scenarios that we went through with the 2nd Gen Adrenalines.
I feel for your frustrations.... can only tell you Quad got it all worked out for us.
The Adrenaline is the hottest 2nd Gen box out there. And all the Pulse readouts are spectacular!
They must be even more phemonenal on a 3rd Gen?
Took a while... Beta Testing and "on the market" trials before all the kinks were gone for everyone.
But was worth the wait!!

I was just in an 03 today and it was about 5300 at idle? I will see what could possibly be wrong with it. If he has one that does it, then it will be easy.
You have a beta board so maybe there is a wrong value part or something? I know we had to change a small part out for the FP reading because there was an error on the bill of materials when the first ones were built.
