Quadzilla 30hp setting
I have the std quad box and always have it set on the 60hp setting, recently I have been thinking of upgrading to the race version. I tow sometimes and have tried the 30hp setting but the EGT and mileage were actually better on the 60hp setting. So I was wondering if anybody has found the 30hp setting useful or should I just get the race box and use the 60hp setting on it.
With that I have a question for the guys with the race box, what's it like towing with the 60hp setting?

It works good (60hp Race), but I don't haul as heavy as others on here. I love my Race box and I would love it more if I could keep my fuel up with the demand. The 30hp was nicer than stock, but I didn't use it much after I had gauges. As a matter of fact I run on 100 a lot, but an auto might not work as good at that high a setting, then again, it might work better.

I like my Quad Race , not much different from my bullydog other then it smokes more and timing rattle. I haven't towed with it yet or went to highest setting I haven't put my guages in yet.

The sixty hp setting for towing works fine. EGTs are very manageable.
The 130 hp setting is not much different than the 100hp setting - just uses more fuel. Save your money on the upgrade.
I'd look to get a programmer (smarty) and stack if you want more power.

Thanks for the replies. From reading this I quess I'll just do like 2003 Ram said and save the money if there's not much diff in the 100 to 140 setting. I just hate having a position I never use. It looks like no one really uses the 30hp setting.

I've run around on the 140hp (for the 2003-2004) setting and I like it, but I want more fuel. Every setting is a little more aggressive on the Race.
