Quad X2 and Commander install questions

Quad X2 and Commander install questions
I have a Quad X2 Standard with Commander and pillar mount ordered and have a few questions. After reading the instructions from the Quad site on both, it appears they both have wiring harnesses to connections on the engine. I'm assuming I don't use both. If that's true, do I use the X2 or Commander harness? Do I run the harness to the Commander then connect the X2 to the Commander?
Should I use dielectric grease for the connections?
Any advice, links, pictures, tips, etc. would be appreciated.
I can't wait to get it installed before pulling my 5er to Estes Park.
Thanks!

The X2 and the Commander harnesses will both be used. The Commander harness will connect to a couple of the same connections the X2 does but the X2 harness already has the quick disconnects on each plug to connect the Commander harness to so that you do not have to tap any wires. You will have to drill and tap the exhaust manifold for the EGTs, and install the trans temp sender in the transmission for that reading.
