Wow that's pretty impressive, I would think that stacking the smarty and the Adrenaline would get quite a bit more power than the smarty and the power puck, but I am no big hp expert. Plus the Adrenaline has quite a bit more adjustability than the power puck, but I guess you have to go with what works for you.

Good luck at the Dyno I see you are from Colorado as well.

 

I have to turn the timing off on my smarty when I turn the quad up, and that really kills power. But your exactly right, that combo works for my truck so I'm going to keep running it.

There are 2 dynos coming up soon, one all diesel event in Greeley. And one at the end of the month that's just a group dyno at a performance shop. I'll be one of only a couple diesels there, which is always fun. Your more than welcome go join on the 18th, we just don't advertise it on this forum. If you want more info let me know, I can introduce you to the local guys.

 

When I ran my smarty with my X2 I loaded the x2 stacking program with no timing and let the smarty do the timing and the truck really seemed to like it.

I haven't played with the Adrenaline much yet, but I think there are going to be similar features.

2. Custom tuning is disabled for right now, so not to worry. it's Done on purpose to keep other variables from messing up the testing.

3. The level change takes patience, hit it wait, hit it wait, Not a long wait, just enough for it to change. I too wished it was a little faster.

 

The only other thing I have heard was on 04.5-05 trucks having some rattling issues but, I think we have that under control now.

 

Actually, never claimed that on the Adrenaline for the 03-07 Dodge trucks. My hp claims don't suggest that either.

This product will make plenty of power for most people and make more power than a regular transmission can handle but, I was not willing to sacrifice reliability, drivability and a few other issues to push the limits on power.

We might do that in the near future. We want a solid product with lots of features, good power, good fuel mileage that is great for the guy towing or messing around.

This is not intended for drag racers. I learned my lesson already in that arena.

 

Like I said above, I am not trying to dominate a horsepower war with this product.

BUT.

You had it for a couple of days and a good portion of its abilities have not even been turned on for you to know what it is capable of.

I am not going to argue about what kind of power it makes but, I do think it is silly to make the statements you have made on a product that we have not even released.

I'm not bashing your product, or claiming it didn't work as advertised. It just wasn't right for me or my budget. I had other issues that scared me a little bit and didn't feel the need to keep running it, when the money could be poured into the motor. It will be great for some guys, just not me. Sorry if that came off wrong.

I actually asked you to call me before you shipped it out, so we could talk about this and my goals. You said you would call me and I waited for days, and heard nothing by the time it showed up. So I figured I would try it anyways.

 

And that is accurate.

Edge is 100hp or 150 with unlock for 03-04 trucks
Edge is 100hp or 180 with unlock for 04.5-05 trucks
Edge is 100hp or 160 with unlock for 06-07 trucks

TS MP8 is 100hp

Diablo Puck is 90hp

Banks is 126 for 03-07 trucks

TST is a bunch but, not really advertised for a specific hp any more and no 06-07 products.

I am sure there are more but, I think we described what we do accurately.

One of the most powerful plug and play boxes and for the 06-07 trucks it makes as much or more than any other box.

I did not say makes more power than ANYTHING or more power than any combination of products available.

For that matter, I think once we get the custom tuning rolled out a Smarty/Adrenaline stack will probably rule the dyno's and drag strips. We just have too much adjustability and too many options to get it just right on a particular truck.

 

I think you are arguing with yourself now over the hp claim thing, but anyway. Glad to hear that everything is going well with the beta testing other than the issue Stainless had which seems to be an isolated incident.

Any idea when will the trans temp and custom tuning be released?

Also noticed this evening that the Air temp on mine doesn't seem to be reading, not a big deal just reporting it.

I haven't had much of a chance to try the mileage part of it because I have been using the higher levels. The power compared to the X2 seems to be considerably stronger on the Adrenaline.

Are you guys expecting or hoping to see better mileage numbers compared to the X2 mileage programs or pretty much the same?

I might be but, I just want to make sure people understand that I am not claiming horsepower king of the world with this particular product. I have one on my desk that would give any stack or programmer or box ever made a run for its money for sure but, it has some issues and I don't have any immediate fixes for it. Some other boxes have the same issues and I guess they just deal with them but, I won't. Things like cam and crank errors, injector bank errors etc.

I just do not want to mislead anyone. The power is good, the entire system is great and provides a lot of function for the buck. It will be even better once we unlock the custom tuning.

Got that box in today but, did not go over it. I will have it on a truck before the weekend is over and see if I can repeat what was documented in our system. Did not get too much info as he just basically said he wanted to send it back and not too much else. We did pry a little info out but, according to the notes it was not much.



We have an update we are working on and hoping to release middle of the week. It will address several small issues and we hope to have the trans temp included. It will also have a change for power level changes, solve some rattling issues, a fix for boost too high too long when cruising without the cruise control for extended periods of times and some little stuff here and there.

Custom Tuning will be unlocked as soon as we don't have any known bugs. I suspect 7-10 days or so??

It has more torque down low by a mile, more torque and horsepower in the mid range by a mile and better top end but, not by a mile! The mid range and the throttle response while on the roll or at cruise speeds is pretty impressive. You really need a converter and a fuel system to get the most out of the upper levels though.

I am expecting the same but, on paper it should do better. I am the worlds worst driver for mileage. I like to see that thick black cloud of smoke too often!

Early reports show mileage is good when drivers are disciplined and mileage is worse when using the power which is expected. So it is too early to say much, No way it can be less than the X2 though!


That is the claim but, only with the extra $100 unlock. No extra $$$$ to unlock anything for us. Never had one on a dyno but, have used on the street. It runs well but, from a roll I think it will get stomped?? Time will tell.
