Quad now that the Adrenaline is about to be released for the Common Rails would you mind giving us all a little info about it.

I noticed that comparing the Common Rail version and 24v on your website that you are rating the 24v getting more hp. Is this because you have had it out longer, are you just being conservative with the CR estimate or is there something about the 2nd gen trucks that allows you to get more hp's from them?

What all is involved in the install of the Adrenaline? I noticed that with the pulse monitor it covers a ton of new and existing parameters.

And any other cool facts you can give us

Looks like it has some good features. Very similar to the EDGE.

Anyone running one? Opinions?

Also, what are the power gains for 03 early 04 vs 04.5 on up?

Like my Smarty but it would definitely be nice to have the monitor and adjustability of that.

Well I'm beta testing the Adrenaline, I've had it on for one day and so far so good, there are couple of quirks that I need to get figured out. 1 is that mine doesn't seem to be reading trans temp, not sure why, I'll call quad on Monday.

Some bad news for you guys hoping to run the adrenaline and the SMARTY POD, not gonna happen. The Adrenaline runs of the OBD port so no POD. I'm glad I didn't upgrade to the POD yet. There is a lot of custom tuning that can be done on the Adrenaline, but I haven't had time to mess with it yet.

That is true to an extent... It uses the OBD port for 06 and later trucks. If you have a Smarty POD and an 03-05 truck then you are just fine, as it plugs into the datalink port.

His Pulse controller started acting all weird and screen was wavy, power levels acted funny so to be safe pulled it off.

Still no major problems with mine so far. I do have a couple questions that I pm'd to Quad but no answers yet. Maybe you guys will have some info.

1) Anyone know when the Trans temp update is going to be ready?

2) When I try to make the custom tuning changes they always seem to revert back to the stock settings. Is this a problem or another ability that is going to be released at a later time?

3) If you just hold down the button to change levels it makes the noise like the levels are changing, but they don't change. You have to press it once each time for each level.

Any other issues you guys are having?

Thanks for covering for me, I'm not on DTR very often. I might have kept it had Quad actually called me when he said he was going to. Not only that but I have a regional dyno coming up soon, and with putting on twins/injectors/etc I just couldn't keep something in the budget that wasn't going to make big power.

Hmm I would think the adrenaline would make more power than any other box out there right now, at least that is what Quad claims.

Which box are you running instead?

Smarty Beta 4.2/puck. It DOMINATES the quad, easy 75 more hp than the smarty and quad stacked.

The ADR will be fine for guys who want a product like Edge, but it just doesn't fit the bill for me. I'm trying to make big numbers.

Quick Reply: Quad can you give us all a little info on the Adrenaline?
