Well I am sure you will get some real numbers. I am pre-turbo with two pyros. Based on what I have read and researched the difference could be anywhere from 0 idleing to 400* or more with a load or box turned up and WOT. I know the Quad race box on high would get to 1500+* pre-turbo on a full sustained WOT with afe air intake, Banks exhaust and stock turbo. The rule of thumb on normal load seems to be somewhere around 300* difference. But then I have never had a post turbo sensor. Just my .02.

It can be anywhere from 100 degrees to 500 degrees difference, depending on how hard you're working it.

The general rule of thumb I have always heard and used is to add 10 degrees for every pound of boost you are running. 10 lbs + 100 degree, 20lb + 200 .... additonal degrees. This may be off the mark, but it is what I use. Maybe someone with a pre and a post egt can add some insite.

I think when I get my edge soon, I am going to put its EGT probe into the existing slot I got my autometer gauge now (manifold), and weld a post turbo bung and hook up the autometer one and watch what happends...

I want to keep both gauges functional, and, I don't want to drill another hole in the manifold...for now.

Like Phox said, it varies with load. The pre-turbo temp is much quicker to react to engine changes while the post-turbo temp is dampened and slower to react. Post-turbo will heat up slower and cool down slower and won't show the peaks on quick fuel changes.
