Pyro Install

Ok, there are a million threads on this but I haven’t found a thread with my situation.

I just bought an Autometer Pryro and installed it in the cab. My manifold had already been drilled, tapped and plugged with a brass plug, (I know bad ) by the previous owner. However it as a ¼’ NPT threads and the Autometer gauge came with 1/8” NTP treads.
What should I do?

Find an Autometer Pyro sender with ¼” threads?

Tap a new hole, pre-tubo, or post turbo?

Try to find an adapter (Who knows if this will work)?

What say you?

I think an adapter would work fine also.

you should be able to go to an auto part store, Lowes or Home Depot and in the plumbing section should have the adapter from 1/4" NPT to 1/8 NPT
