protect your truck!
What do you use to protect anything and everything on a new truck? I have got the catch-all floor liners, mud flaps, rear wheel liners, spray in bed liner, and the mopar bug guard (for paint chips) on the list so far. Maybe a some clear bra stuff on the top of the bumper adn the front of the fenders? Thanks ;D

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Re:protect your truck!
I always park far away from everybody else and I still have mysterious scratches and dings. It is impossible to guard against some kinds of 'people'. Specially ones that are jealous of my nice truck.

;D I have to agree with Stan. You will always get those mysterious dings. You are on the right path with your current list of mods to prevent most of the common problems. Good luck.

Henchman, sounds like you're doing pretty well so far. I have the full deluxe 3m kit - check them out...I think they're well worth it...

njoverkill, check the link I posted above. You can't really even see it, and it gives a lot of front end ding protection. In the below attached pic, you can barely see the seam of it on the hood. And below on the seam, no that's not the film, thats just light..its all totally clear and clean...

Lightman how spendy was it? I was quoted $550 by another company to install protection on the hood, upper bumper fascia, fenders, headlights & foglights. I thought that was pretty steep. Did you do it or have it installed?

Vaughn, click the link above for invinca shield, and the prices are on the web page. The deluxe 13 piece kit that covers every painted part of the front of my truck was like 370. Had it installed at their facility in NC, however they have many installers. Basically squeegees, sprays, and heat guns...7 yr warranty against peeling, yellowing, or cracking.

This product is called 3M Scotchcal. It can be ordered in rolls of differing widths, lengths and thickness. For $300, you can order a roll that will do the front, dually fender protrusions, running boards, door thresholds and leave enough for another truck. You have to do the cutting and fitting. The custom fit is nice - - just expensive. OOOOPPPSSS, what did I say? I guess $300 for a stupid roll of Scotch tape is expensive also. :'( :'(

Re:protect your truck!
Fiver bob is right, you COULD spend a few more hours cutting up the roll and fitting pieces, to probably end up with a sloppier result than the laser/machine cut kits I put the link to above. The difference is my install has no bubbles, creases, etc. Not saying you guys can't do it yourselves, I just know I couldn't have done it as well as they did.
There are companies outside of 3m that make rolls of thicker film, similar to the thickness of the X-Pel headlight covers you may have seen. These other brands of thicker film are much cheaper, and are more ideal for rocker panels, etc.
