I've had a Bully dog LP system for quite a few years and really like it. Mine does not have a vaporizer, it pulls off the top of the tank.

I notice on my truck anywhere from 1.5-3 mpgs gained when using the propane, however you have to remember there is the added cost of the propane. I spend about $22.00 on filling my 10lb tank and it lasts me for about 750-900 miles depending on the terrain.

I've got a Torque-Pro 2000 system from ATS. I like its' adjustability via the Hobbs switch. Mine is set to not even start flowing propane until I have somewhere between 28-30 pounds of boost. It'd work well set lower but then unless I manually turn it on and off instead of just letting it do it's own thing, it goes through way too much propane. It is installed on my 18 wheeler (855 cubic inch - 14 Liter). Have a 60 gallon tank, about 45 gallons usable. By the way, I've had no engine troubles attributable to the propane in over a million miles, probably because I don't run it too rich. Too little air /too much propane equals problems. Mine works real well....

I wouldnt recomend using propane on the common rail 03 and later model trucks never seen one using it with good end result. Propane works awesome on the 12valves and 24valve isb motors but wouldnt recomend on any other ones then those.
