Propane AND water/meth injection?

I just picked up a used Powershot 2000 propane system. I plan on mounting two 25 pound cylinders in my tool box buy cutting out part of the bottom of the box (tanks will rest on the bed floor). Thinking of setting it up for start of around 7 pounds of boost and the lowest initial flow rate (it is a progressive system).

I am looking for better MPG empty and while towing (trailers from 10K to 15K)

So on to the questions:

Is there a advantage to running water/meth WITH the propane?

Will they work in concert or are they incompatible?

Is anyone doing this?

and finally:

Is it a stupid idea?

In addition to what is in my signature, the truck has a Banks high ram, AEM dry-flow intake system, and a Ramifier (in cab adjust). I live at 6000 feet elevation and tow into the mountains regularly.

Thanks for any advice
Allen

P.S. If anyone needs a in bed propane tank, I have two extras. Both are horizontal mount and full bed width.

A bit of added info:

My reason for considering this is for EGT reduction as I am not sure how the propane will affect my EGTs. Power is always good but being able to keep my foot in it (by keeping EGT in check) would be a good enough reason to install it.

Your thoughts?

No, but it is uninformed - I don't recommend your plan.

forget the propane, just stick with a snow kit or cooling mist stage 2's. run the washer fluid, its a 80%water AND20% meth. youll get the lower egt's like you want , about 175 degrees worth, and youll def pick up about 30 hp with it also. it worked great for me.

Give Snow Peormance a call. Matt explained it to me very well a couple of years ago. I can't remember all the details but he explained running water/meth by itself, water/meth w/propane, and water/meth w/nitrous. He told me what amounts they recommend of each if you were going to run them together, or by themselves.

By all means, please inform me. I would like to know the basis for your recommendation. A fellow can never have to much info.

It's too heavy, inconvenient & expensive; adds too much unregulated timing and doesn't produce a significant return on investment fuel-wise.

Use timing software to increase your mileage and water injection to control EGT.

Thanks guys, just the kind of input I was looking for.

I already have the complete propane set-up so I might as well give it a try at the lowest settable flow rate. If it doesn't work out for me, no big loss I can always sell it (I'm not into it for too much). I wouldn't be surprised to be replacing it with water/meth and a different box in the near future.

Thanks again
