ive had a couple triple dogs, older power pups and a smarty, they all did me well for the money. I like the smarty it is smoother to drive around than crazy larry was, but its only available for the 04.5 and newer trucks. guys have good things to say about diablosport on their 03s.

Whatever programmer you decide on, be careful what level you run it on, especially if yours is an auto.
I've run 'extreme' on the BD and so far the stock clutch is handling it, I don't realy go nuts with it, what for?
Crazy Larry would fry the clutch for sure, haven't tried at and not planning on it.

I am leaning toward the edge box and then get some gauges like boost, pyro, and tranny temp. Do you think that I would be satisfied with that box? I only haul a 28 ft enclosed trailer and race car. But I want just as good MPG as what I get now.

Only used my BD for about 2 weeks, some guys change all the time though. Look in the classifieds, that way you won't lose a lot if you decide to try something else.

Anyone running TST PowerMaxCR? I am new to the diesel scene but I recently bought my truck about a month ago and this is what the previous owner had installed on it. I personally love it and think it is the way to go. I like it because it does not change fuel rail pressure, just changes pulse width duration.

I would also like to know the answer to this question.
It might also answer the question of, why there are so many Toyota 4x4s in the paper...........BECAUSE A LOT OF PEOPLE OWN THEM AND THEY WORK GREAT!!!
Racin 41, the edge is a performance module that remains plugged in under the hood, BDTD and Smarty are programers, they download info then you unplug them when finished. FYI...

You can get run Smarty on the 03 and 04 trucks also. 2nd Gens/24valves have a Smarty too. They just don't make quite the power that an 04.5-07 makes with it.
