So before the X2 gets ordered what other programmer should I look at getting for the ol truck? I have big plans for the rig but as anyone that knows about an Army income knows it is not very high! So the big plans are gonna take a while. Thanks for ya'lls time

X2 isn't a programmer(I'm not sure if you thought it was by your post), get the Smarty, you won't need to stack anything.

Smarty and x2 race stack very well together on my 07 ran a 13.304 the way it came from the factory and installed smarty 4.4 and x2 stacker. The only other thing out their we have seen better is the tst/smarty stack if your truck is a early 06 you may look into tst but for us late 06-07 guys x2 and smarty like each other alot. We have tried nearly every stack with every programer/box combo out their and this is what worked for us.

I've had Bully Dog TripleDog and now the Smarty....loved 'em both, prefer the Smarty on my truck...

If you're looking for a programmer/gauges, I would stick with the Smarty. If you are looking for a box/chip with digital gauges I would go with a Juice/Attitude. Really depends on how big your "plans" are. The "Hot Juice" is a pretty strong level on the Juice/Attitude.

smarty made 60hp more than the PPE last weekend on the dyno here in town.

guy has ATS twins (a3k & a5k), dual cp3, studs, sticks, cam, fully balanced internals, fluidamper, ATS stage 6 tranny, 5 star converter, edge ez, PPE, co-pilot. first couple of runs with everything turned up (PPE & edge) he laid down 698, pulled the PPE off and laid down over 760 with smarty on 9. I was not there (he called me last night) so i don't know what version smarty was on the truck but i am sure it was beta 4.4.
