Do a quick search there is a lot of info here about it. It's a brand new product, the first customers are just now receiving them.

No, there is a SL version you can download, you'll need to do some major work to run it though, especially if yours is an auto, get gauges at least. I only run 'extreme' and so far my clutch is holding up to it. Even extreme could be hard on your auto from what I hear.
BDTD is an older unit, been out a long time and not the latest and greatest thing out there. It has all the programming features the Smarty has, maybe more. Can change for your tire size, headlight/accessory delay, high idle, PTO setting etc etc, plus you can change on the fly.
My truck was fully loaded, 500 pounds of water in the back, 2 boats, outboards, chainsaw, genny etc, all the stuff we go camping with, was on the factory overloads even before hooking up the 23 foot trailer filled with water, beer etc. Put the BDTD on 'performance', set the cruise to 118 KPH then headed up the Coquihalla here in BC. There's one long 20 km hill, very steep, there's always people breaking down on it, Chev's catching fire etc. At the top I was still in 6th gear with the cruise on and had lost only 3 KPH, it was great! EGT's were only 1250 pre turbo.
I got my TD cheap, so far I like it and if I decide to try something else I could sell it for what I paid for it, can't lose.
I'm not going to go nuts with the truck though, can't see ever doing more than maybe a clutch when it goes and a better fuel pump, I'm actually running in stock mode now experimenting with trying get the best economy.

Okay, sorry, it's SCARRY Larry you're looking for, my mistake, that's a whole different story.
You should contact Buddy, or do a search, it's been talked about, some people have it but it's not really "supported", a use at your own risk kinda thing. It was meant for a 2005 auto or something...?

I also recommend the DiabloSport Predator. Have been running mine for some time now & have had great results with it.
Of course I purchased the stack combination (Puck & Predator) but I usually leave the Puck in the off position & only run the Predator in the extreme setting.
