Are the ProComp ES9000 or SKYJACKER NITRO 8000 Better than our stock shocks?

4wheelparts.com has a killer deal on PROCOMP ES9000's.

(4) ES9000 shocks w/ shock boots and (1) Steering Stabilizer for $149

http://www.explorerprocomp.com/PDFs/07cat/7-11.pdf

or

(4) SKYJACKER NITRO 8000 for $155 and NO steering stabilzer.

My truck has stock height with 33" tires and all I am looking for is a better more comfortable ride on the HWY. So should I get one of those (2) deals or is stock going to ride better?

Seems like both shocks are nitrogen gas.

I'd have to say anything rides better than stock shocks!

I'd also have to say you get what you pay for and plan on replacing them real soon!

Rancho RS 9000's or Bilstein 5100's seem to be your best bet.

Funny story, sorta.
When I ordered my Rancho RS9000's the company i bought them from made a mistake and shipped me those ProComp ES9000's. 2 weeks later and a big hastle with them they finally sent me the Rancho's. They never asked for or did a UPS parcel pick up slip for the ProComp's. There still sitting in a box beside my desk at work............for 8 months now, and free. So are the Rancho's (free) because 1 week into it I called my credit card company and put a stop on the transaction because they never returned my numerous phone calls or e-mails. Bank investigated the stop claim and the company never responded to the bank.

procomp shocks

i personally dont like them. i have had them for 4 months and i so far have had to replac the upper bushings 3 times and washers 4 times! i do use my truck and hard at times. but atleast with other brands bushings were not my problem. ather than that the ride is pretty smooth on road. off raod i would like a hard/stiffer shock!

as for the skyjacker i will try them next i guess
