problems with ecm help
for some reason my altenator and my stock fuel pump do not come on anymore. i have been told that they are not ran on an accessorie controlled by the key but turned on by the ecm. i am going to dodge monday and am going to have it flashed and see if that fixes the issues but if not i am out of ideas. has this happened to anyone before? and do any of you know were to get a new ecm if i have to other than a dealer because they are pricey.

will an 04.5 work on my truck? it is an early 04 but if it has the same harness connections and just a different fuel curve or mapping inside it should work right?

Just like any ECM that is flash(able) it should be able to be bench flashed and it must be done through a Cummins house or dodge house. Without the truck being present.
Only problem is if your going for the warranty end of things here your going to have to let the dealership do the work.
