Problem with Kore/Weld Wheel Caps
I bought a set of Kore/Weld Wheels about a year ago. They fit well and look great but I can't get the center caps to stay tight. I've tried everything short of glue to try to get them to stay in place.
Weld said to take the rims off the truck to install the center caps. Am I the only one that thinks that's a BS suggestion?
Has anyone else had this problem?
Anyone have any suggestions?

Well, they fit in there just so.
It's hard to make sure the little spring ring is seated right when you just pop the caps on. Additonally, the tabs on the center caps like to break. Seems like they used some cheap plastic when they were making them (in China, no less).
I can't get mine to stay on perfect. I think a good solution would be to use Shoe Goo. I used it to glue down servos in my r/c cars. Holds over 120in/oz of torque (tested by me). Shoe Goo II is awesome stuff. It will make your caps stay put.

DTR's Cow Boss
when i was working at a tire store if we had a customer with rattling center caps if there the ones i am thinking of its a cup with a lip? if you take a pair of needle nose pliers and bend the lip down all the way around it will make it a little taller and when its seated aginst the wheel and the truck it will tighten up if that makes any sense lol

Use a rubber o-ring that fits tight on the O.D. of the cap. Slip the o-ring on and install the center cap, no rattles. This will only work for caps that insert from the inside, not the push in style.
