you have to watch that buy 3 get 1 free deal. you have to buy all 4 and you get rebated for the 4th tire. it is a great deal don't get me wrong but just have to be prepared to spend all the money up front then get it back in the mail.

4wheelparts.com is probably the largest retailer of the pro-comp brand. The buy 3 get 1 free deal is not out right now ,but i have found that when that deal is going on that the tire prices go up so sometimes that is not a good deal. 4 wheel parts will price match with anybody and they will deal with you so haggle them down. Also they have some of the best people to work with there. They will make sure you get the right stuff.

i know you said that you decided on the pro comps but tread depot is selling toyo mt's in a 37x13.50x17 for less than $1200 inc.shipping and they're e rated. 4wheelcustoms marks up their tires A LOT when they do their buy 3 get 1 free deal as they do this on their own and not as part of a manufacturer rebate or offer- 4wheelcustoms price for pro comp's in 37x12.50x17 is almost $1400 delivered.

just be careful with the pro comps especially if you're going to be towing- many of pro comp's tires are made by cooper and cooper is involved in lots of law suits over accidents caused by tread seperation and the discount tire by me is taking back lots of cooper made tires on recall.

I am going to stronlgey disagree with that statement. These have been the best oversize towing tire I have run...and my brother is having the same experience. IF ALL COOPER's are bad because of some lawsuit...we are in BIG trouble. Do you know how many different tires/brands they make? Semi, passenger, light truck, ag, etc? They are a MAJOR player with a MAJOR share of the tires out there.

just passing on info that was passed on to me by a local tire shop- not all cooper and cooper made tires are involved but whether you agree or not the fact is that several lines of cooper truck tires have been recalled due to tread seperation that have resulted in many roll-over accidents. you can find out more about this by doing a cooper tire search.
