So the question is, how many have you used the 160 horse setting on your rig with a stock tranny. How does it run, have you had any problems since. I know I have a stock tranny and this is just a probing question. I might want to try it once or twice. I am running the performance 100hp tune everyday. Thanks.

 

On mine, the 160 and the 180 tunes totally made the clutch spin on up.

 

Mine too. I'm sure you would have bad results with an auto too.....

 

Mine didn't like it. After about 15 min. and a few ""REALLY" hard 4wd launches it died right away. Now Im leaving it on 100hp with the new stock rebuild.

 

That what I thought too, guess I will have to save up for the tranny to really put it to the floor

 

Dude! The power is incredible on those high settings. It's a big difference from the Performance setting. Lots and lots of smoke too, if you like that sort of thing.....

 

Man I know I want to give them a shot but dont want to push the envelope you know. I would like so see some more smoke too!!
