PPE rates thier product at the flywheel, where as smarty rates thiers at the rear wheels. The beta is a 240hp increase at the wheels I believe.

hmm...ok.
what does a stock 2007 5.9 rate at the wheels?

and then...

what does a 300hp increase at the crank relate to at the wheels?(PPE hp claim)

PPE doesn't work on the 07's. They haven't figured it out yet. Before you try and use any box with that kind of power, you should put the cash into the trans and other things that will back up the power.

PPE has a programer out for the 06-07 trucks they just dont have the hot versions out like they do for the 03-04 and 05 trucks yet, I was told last week it will be a few months on that as well. Dont know much about smarty but I have seen what a ppe can do and will awaiting the release of the ppe hot for my truck and it will be one of my many new purchases in the future.

he may want to call PPE than because as of a couple weeks ago... they didn't know when they have it working correctly.

Sometimes vendors will sell a product whether it works for you or not. They maybe don't know themselves or are just moving product without caring.

This same thing happen with TST. They couldn't control who their vendors were selling to and many with 07's were calling them wondering why the broke something. They stopped selling for the after 6/06 build a long time ago.

People even called TST and lied about having a 07 just to get their box and ended up calling them back claiming they sold them a box for a 07 that blew up their engine. They knew better though.

These '07's are hard nuts to crack. Marco's got it down except for the smoke issues. Bob wagner indicates relief is on the way.

The problem with the tst was with the injector harness if I am am correct. Everyone has a downloader that works on 06-07 trucks and their is nobody claiming before 06/06 only and then late after 06/06-07 trucks. Not smarty, bullydog, diablo, or ppe. If their is a problem their not going to admit it. What kind of problems did you hear about with the ppe on later built 06-07 trucks triton.

I am presently running the PPE Hot with a Dr P stage 3. I have to say that I like it best of all the items that I have used including just about everything except the smarty. Smarty is one item that I have not used yet.

It is smooth power throughout the rpm band and with the pressure it runs like champ and spools the 62/14/71 HTT like a champ.
I did figure out that the hot version has pressure in it and I was drowning the motor on the bottom end.
I downloaded the tow for pulling and it great on the bottom end.
