Ppe Hot For "555"

has anyone on here heard of someone with this box. just thinkin about switchin from smarty to this to stack with the tst and just hoping to get some some feed back before i do. i did a search and found some ppe files for the hot version on the 600 but none on the triple nickle

I dont think they have the hot for the 555. If I were you I would stay with the smarty. Like Bob said I would try some other versions before dumping it.

no not yet i would like to though i tried to get hold of you early in the weak but i just figured you probably got a lot of messages. i would be willing to try it though if i can get. i heard it was alot different then what i got now

i didn't think they did eighther but i talked them today and it is out there, they said it should be the same as the 600 series witch is 300 hp at the flywheel. but so far so good with the smarty tst stack no complaints on the power i have been getting just wondering what else might be out. i have heard alot of good things about the beta versions for smarty

Here my 2 cents, based on experience. I have the TST with twins flash, and HAD it stacked with the PPE excelerator - (215hp). It made awesome power, BUT.....after 40000 km I had a blown headgasket (yes its studded). After some research I found an article on TDR by Don m and some others who found some of these stacks cause excessive cylinder pressure due to too much timing and blow head gaskets. Its starts as a 'popping' noise and just goes down hill from there. One new gasket, freshly tapped block threads, a set of Sportsman valvesprings from Bob Wagner, and 2 retorques on the studs, and away we go.......(again).......
