Has anyone ever seen a "RAPED APE" run, they might not, they may even like it!

Now on a more serious note, are all of these problems due to the dodge pump instead of the Dmax pump?

GWoody,
Most yes. But the bracket for the coolant line wouldnt have worked with the Banks technicooler intake with either set up. According to the PPE website the bracket will work with the standard high ram intake just not the fatter one that comes with the technicooler.

Ok....Not to jinx anything here but I can finally say that the PPE install is done...and over.

After the last bout of me finding out that the Banks/Technicooler High Ram would not fit with this system in place I sourced an intercooler boot from another internet resource.
The boot got here yesterday along with another boot that I bought from another company..
**side note**both boots looked great and the one from intakehoses.com was thicker but cost about 10 bucks more with shipping overall than the other from a silicone boot company that I can't recall the name of at the moment. Both were more than enough to do the job.

In short order I was also able to pickup an ATS Arc Flow intake (thanks jwb600). I must say the ATS is some nice eye candy. It also appears to be of higher quality than the Banks unit.

Next I spent about an hour through my piles of diesel junk to find the correct intercooler band clamp to fit the new boot. This was kind of tough I ended up digging up some old clamp from who knows where but out of 10 or 15 band clamps I have laying around this was the only one that would fit the top properly. The bottom clamp I used an existing spring loaded Banks clamp.

I will say that the installing the boot in what I would call the correct way without shorting either side of meat was kind of tricky. There is not alot of meat left for the clamps to grab onto but I think I managed ok.

After this plumbing was finished I went and finished routing some of the wiring harness that came with the PPE computer and also mounted the computer with some velcro next to my TST box.

Pictures in next post:

BTW...The truck seems to run very smooth so far. I havent had a chance to drive it yet today. The engine also seems to run smoother/quieter but I think the new pully is somehow reducing engine noise.
