Installed my power pup & set it at 130 hp setting stacked with a stage one predator & tst.
Only ran the tst up to level 3 - seemed like good power & ran smooth.
Pulled the tst off just to see how well the pup & predator worked, lots of smoke & good power. Turned the outlook monitor down to 75% - for some reson I had more power & more smoke, Wanted to try the hp & torque mode on the outlook, tried one easy run not getting into it hard just over 400 hp. Went to try it again took it easy off the line in second hit 3rd & 4th getting into it hard when the con fe started slipping bad grabbed 5th totally slipped the clutch.
Now I love my tst but for some reason the pup & predator combo seem to pull harder than the tst & predator combo. My turbo is wastegated at 40 # - with this combo IT hits 40 # very quik and on a hard run 1500 deg egts. Now I need a new clutch
Cant wait to see the new high hp feature for the pup - By the way this is the smoothest hp setup I have run yet. Sorry about the long post.

Holy cow - slipping a Con FE bad?! I thought they were rated 550 HP/1100 ft-lb! How many miles on it? I'm getting one installed this Thursday to handle my VA/TST stack...

JStieger - the pup & predator combo - at least on my truck is an awesome combo - a little hard on the con fe tho.

 

Im running the power pup on tow setting stacked with a predator stage 1 it makes awesome low end power and egts dont get above 1100 no matter how hard im in the throttle.

 

hey guys i have a predetor stage 3 and have a pup on the way. i was thinking of stacking and leaving the predetor on lowest setting wich shoul be 50 hp and putting the pup on 90 hp . what do you guys think?

durango i tried running mine on performace setting stacked with the stage 1 (50hp) predator tons of power but it was trying to slip the clutch when i would jump on the throttle hard, no clutch slipping in tow setting though, i like this stack alot for towing because egts arent a problem

 

I am also running the 50hp/50hp stack like you, the truck runs very good. I towed my 12000lb fifth wheel this last weekend and I was holding 1200deg steady pulling moderate hills. I am looking at A Super B to fix my EGT's while towing.

 

i look but where do you guys find these other boxes? Preditor, quadzilla, and so on?

 

blownaway my egts are just a tad higher than stock, the predator uped my egts a bit but the tow setting on the pup actually brings my egts down, so it all equals out to egts just a bit higher than stock thats the cool thing with stacking these two.

 

kingofdodge I got my predator box from summit racing. Lots of members/vendors on here sell all the various boxes. just ask where to buy what ever box it is your interested in and im sure someone would be more than willing to help you.
