pocket flare opinion for my truck wanted please.

Getting ready to install my lift, wheels, and tires and was curious what everyone thought about painting options for bushwacker pocket flares as im torn over 2 of the options. This is a picture I found on the internet, its not my truck but my truck has the same paint scheme, patriot blue with silver rockers. i really have not considered option 3 as 1 and 2 are the options im pondering. two toning the flares isn't an option, me no likey.

3 options im thinking about.

1. paint flares silver to match the rocker accents.
2. paint flares and rockers blue for one color paint scheme.
3. install flares right out of the box (black)

X2 i accidently voted for painting them blue. that would look good if you didnt have the silver bottom, but if you did that the front would be nice, but the rear wouldnt match

I put mine on right out of the box. I have a graphite grey though. Most everyone I have talked to like the black. It gives a break in color, and most say it makes it look "tougher" if they arent body color. But really it is totally up to you and what you like.

I like the option of painting silver to match the secondary color on the bottom of your truck. Here is a photo of a two toned (blue and silver) '06 2500 4x4 QC CTD with an 8" lift, 37's on 18's, with Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender flares painted silver. They aren't pocket flares, but you get the idea........

i say paint the flares the same as the rockers.......then pull the black molding off and debadge the truck. except for the mighty "C". your truck would take on a completely different attitude once you did that. it would look so much cleaner. but have to say your truck looks great right now!
