Plugging Off Factory Fuel Line After Installing FASS??
Was just wondering if someone makes a banjo bolt plug for the bottom of the fuel filter canister?? I want to remove the fuel line from the CP3 to the bottom of the fuel canister to clean up the FASS install. Thanks guys...

I went straight to my CP3 with the new fuel line when I did my AD. I just drained the fatory filter housing then removed the steel fitting at the CP3 from the hose it attaches to and blew out the fuel line and taped the ends of the hose (engine and tanks ends) with electrical tape. I can use it again if I ever need to.

I struggled with this since i installed my AD in January. Every time i filled my truck, fuel would drip through that fitting.
So on saturday I sacrificed the steel pipe and fitting that originally went to the CP3 from the filter housing, hammered the tube flat and put two rolled bends into it. Cut it nice and short so it looks decent. Re-installed the banjo bolt and the new "modified" fitting and tube and no leaks since saturday.
I think that ought to do it.

I took the steel piece that goes to the cp3 off the rubber hose the connects to the FF housing and put a SS bolt in it and hose clamped the bolt in the rubber fuel line and wire tied it out of the way.

Actually, I went to a local diesel repair shop and got these 12mm plugs designed especially for a plugging or capping off application. They were $5.00 a piece with the banjo washer. Worked like a charm. I guess I'll keep the old line just incase. Does a guy have to leave the old fuel canister full for the sensor to work properly in in or can I leave it empty?
