Plastic Cold Pipe?

Well in my quest for power I was looking at the plastic cold pipe from the IC to the intake horn and was wondering how much boost can that thing really put up with I'm going to up the boost on the Bullet to 55-58 or so for the big weekend dyno event were having. Thanx for your expierience and opinions.

I guess I'll rock it till it pops. Maybe carry some duck tape with the tools if it blows out

Mine blew at about 75lbs. Almost ripped in two pieces at the bend. You will know when it goes, Mine scared the passenger in my truck bad. Tim

I guess they are pretty stout units. You don't here of too many people blowing them up but you would think they would have similar strength to the crappy 05 IC's

Check with the DTR store, call them on the phone, they may be able to get one for you. They are available from other sources as well.

We have the pipes in stock to replace the factory pipe. I have heard the blowing up in the low 60psi range. It is a direct replacement pipe. PM or give me a call for pricing.
