I'm smiling!

Ride is actually very nice. Took it out last night for a quick spin, and then drove to work today. These 37" MTs are not loud like you would expect a 'mud tire' to be. Tracks straight down the highway. No vibration. No 'death wobble' at least I haven't experienced one yet. Everything feels great. I'm not well versed in suspension to give you any technical terms to describe how it feels, but it drives very well.

Cost, I would e-mail Don for a quote on what parts you would need to get to where you want to be. He was straight up with me, and didn't oversell me on anything. Told me I did not need rear springs, just shackles, and that for my intended use I wouldn't need his control arms either, just 'some arms' that are +1/2" longer than stock. What he quoted me for parts was cheaper than any of the prices on his website. Depending on what you buy I think he will work out a better price for you.

I looked at Kore and researched it on here, but I found too many people that were jumping off Kore and going towards Thuren or Carli, so I figured I would just start there.

Are those Toyo's 35" or 37"? And what wheel did you go with? Just curious if you have any rubbing issues. With my Toyo 35"s, I'm no where close to rubbing my control arms or wheelwell's. But It's time for some new "shoes" for the truck, and if I can get Toyo 37"s to fit without rubbing, I'd love to go to 37"s. Oh yea, one more thing if you don't mind, what's the offset and backspacing on those wheels? Oh yea, your truck looks great!

Now I need to get my speedometer fixed. Dealer wants $105-$130 and doesn't know for sure if the size I need is in the computer, or something.

They are 37x13.5-17. Wheels are Fuel Hostage in 17x9 with a -12mm (4.5") backspace. The other option is a +1mm (5") backspace, but they were on nationwide backorder when I went to order; that's the BS that I wanted. So, I settled for the -12mm and said "I'll make it fit." I wish I would have stuck with the +1mm, but I wanted them 'now'. I had to clearance the plastic airdamn and a small part of the front bumper, as well as some of the inner lower fender to make them fit. Nothing major. Since I don't WHEEL the truck, I'm not concerned about not rubbing through the full range of motion. I know there are a couple positions where if I flexed, I would probably rub on the rear part of the front fenders. I think with the +1mm offset, it would be a lot better.

Also, check out this thread: 3" lifts with 37" tires.

If I remember correctly, the dealer can't re-program for those tire sizes. But a Smarty can, so that will give you an excuse to go out and get a Smarty! LOL

Got the temporary control arm bolt out. Had to use a ratchet strap to pull/rotate the axle back enough to get the new bolt in there. Clearanced the fender liner a little more on the driver's side. Washed it. Threw the center caps on.

Best I can do right now for pics.
