Doug,
He means putting a tie-wrap over the end of the rubber hose where it goes over the barbed end of the boost bolt. I have a Yamaha Wave Runner and they do that over the end of all fuel and oil injection lines ( good practice ).

Well after reading this thread I was confused. But I got the SRT10 mount anyways.
Fit is GREAT. No issues. No rubber trim on my '04 to remove, nor any on the passenger side. Only trick was getting the hook in the side panel to engage on the pillar to hold it tight, leaving no gap for the door to see.

JohnnyH,
Some people coat the drill and tap with grease to catch the chips and I have heard of some putting tape over the tail pipe and running the engine to blow the chips out the hole. I just drilled the hole and cleaned up real good with a pencil magnet, also after tapping. I used a little spray lube on the tap for cutting the threads and I put Never-seize on the thermocouple when I installed it. It is pretty easy to tap the manifold, I didn't have the right size bit so I used a 11/32, close enough for 1/8 NPT. Relax and enjoy the project.
