I did not, Andy - the assembly is thermo-plastic, with some critical parts ultrasonically welded together - I had only the one expensive example, needed for the Jeep, so I judiciously avoided any in-depth examination, therein and thereof, knowwhuttimean?
There is an article on the module over at Glacier Diesel, where they destructively examined the unit - you might want to check that out.
I would like some hands-on with several more modules for further staged testing, some destructive, some not.

unfortunately the weather has been pretty bad here with lots of sleet and ice this week. The lowest I have felt comfortable going is a little less than 1/4 tank (3/16 maybe), and I've not had it give me any problems at all under any driving style. It used to give me fits at that level before the swap.
Once the weather clears up a little bit, I will try running it a little lower. I just don't wanna get myself stranded someplace in these coooold and nasty conditions if it does act up. I have no reason to believe it will, but I'm just playing it safe.

I have an 03 with the glacier setup and I don't have any problems running my truck right down to the last 3 gallons (About 50 miles past E into the reserve). Given that this setup seems to work why not just use the 03/04 pickup?

Ahhh.... good to know.... While I am glad I don't have the tank headache, it would be nice to have a bigger turbo with an electronic wastegate. Anyway this pickup looks like a good solution.

So has anyone actually tried the Liberty unit?
I'd like to upgrade my lift pump but do not want to have problems running out of fuel at ¼ tank.

I think 04.5 - 05 are the same, the lift pump is in the tank, the same set up as my 06 I think?
I'm not really sure what the difference is on the 03 - 04.5 but I'm sure someone will educate us.
I can draw my FP down to 0 psi and want to do something for it without going the new 'draw straw' route, I don't want to be running out of fuel at ¼ tank like some people are satying after the mod.

All you need to do is raise the hood and look - if the lift pump is on the fuel manager head (filter), you'll see it - if it's not there, look up under the truck along the frame rail for a modification, usually with brightly-colored hoses - if none, it's likely in-tank.
