Did you trim the caps?
If you didn't and double nut them do they stick out past the tires?

Yep, I bought a second set of caps and trimmed them. I still plan on using the originals for cross country trips pulling loads. We'll see if that works out.

Rides a lot better to me. Seems to have soften and smoothed out the ride, took away the harshness I sometimes got with the old Michelins.

I originally got this set just to try and see how they fit, needless to say they are not coming off and I have already ordered another set with almost new tread to take their place.
