I saw a 6" suspension lift today with just blocks in the rear, and it EASILY cleared the 37's he had. He said he had a skinny set of 38's that fit fine before he installed bushwackers. 9" total lift with 37's would look like 4 ants carrying a biscuit IMO.

No need for the body lift, I have a 3" with 37's, with minor trimming.

I disagree with that to a point. if you do 3" suspension and have 37's you better have the right backspacing and width of tires. I have 37x13.5x20 with 9" wide & 4.5" backspacing and they rubbed the rear of the fender every time I turned. Hence the 3" bodylift.

shot of the rear with gap gaurds

no one knows it has a body lift until they ask how much lift and i say 6" suspension and 3" body. They freak out that it has a body and say it does not look at all like it has a body lift on it.

the frame does not stick way down like they do on a GM or Ford. It is very well hidden. Have not had a single problem and I do go offroad with the truck.

Heres mine. Mine also rubbed inside the fenders due to my wheel backspacing, but only in a very sharp turn.

i hate them! LOL... I have nearly 42k miles on them so they have lasted a while. the problem for me has been balancing them. Hard to keep balanced. Had the front end rebuilt, dual steerin stabilizer, balanced, aligned but still have a vibration that pizzzzza's me off @ 55-62mph. can drive thru it and it is glass. Toyo's for me next. going with the 42's and going with the 14" OUO full coil over kit.

I have a 6" top gun lift on mine with 37/13.5/20's and had to clip the inside corner of the front bumper but other than that everything clears fine.

You can't even tell the front is trimed unless you already knew

So other than the annoying vibration around those speeds you listed , they ride O.K.?

I`d love to get 40K out of a set of tires.

...oh yea , I also had to trim my lower valance just a bit with 9 IN. of lift when I was running my 37s on 17X10s , but I had the same tire on the stock wheels with only a leveling kit with NO rub on the body , just the locating bars @ full lock either way....

Those are some great looking trucks, I now have all the lift- wheels and tires to be put on just not sure of my tire and wheel combo with just 6" I have the fun country II tires 37x13.50x17 and weld stonecrusher wheels 17x10 with 4.65 backspacing dont care to have to trim black piece at bottom of front bumper just dont want it to hit rear of front fender.

I have had several people compliment the ride of the truck. It does ride well, just the vibration sux

It`s going to be REALLY close , if you keep it on the street you might be O.K. , but I`m pretty sure they will not clear off-road.

A friend of mine had the same tire/wheel/lift on his `04 and they rubbed the plastic , and almost touched the fenders....

Let us know how i turns out.

.....now I`m not sure about the Pro Comps , I know it`s not a Caddy , but I use my truck for our family trips , so it needs to ride as smooth as possible (with a 37 in tire)

My Coopers rode great , no balance issue at all , just looking for an A/T this time around.

I had a set of Toyo A/Ts and wore them out in 10K miles. The truck never could even do a burnout with them on , they were sooo sticky. They did ride well , but that`s alot of cash every 10K miles

OUO makes a kit for our trucks now?
