Piaa(3800k) vs. Sylvania Silverstar(4000k)
I had the bright boxes on mine for awhile they worked great until one melted down. Then I switched to Piaa Plat.Super whites I was happy with them but they aren't as good as the bright boxes(Too bad they didn't last) I just had one Piaa burn out after six months. So now I'm going to try Sylvania Silverstars. They have a rating of 4000k vs. Piaa's of 3800k and about half the price.Has anybody tried both yet to compare ?

It's not about the color, it's about how much light you get!

I can get silverstars for $38 a pair, Piaa's are $66.95 a pair . Last night I had one silverstar and one Piaa installed in my truck. They are very similar. The silverstars are a little whiter in color. I'm going to go with the silverstars for 2 reasons to save money and you can get them at any advanced auto or Wal-mart. Piaa's I get at autoprofection.com but they are hard to get a hold of sometimes.
