Phoenix friction performance clutches?? Valair??

My clutch is running by a thread and looking to get a nice street clutch for a good price, looking into the stage 5 organic that Phoenix friction offers and it sounds too good to be true, has anyone ran these clutches? Or heard about them? Trying to find the best clutch for the money, south bend is too expensive right now and valair is up there. I plan on running a 64 phatshaft in the next year with 90s and Probly some sort of stack. I also plan on towing heavy occasionally, and don't exactly want a dual disc, seems like more parts to break for the numbers I plan on running. Any advise would be helpful thanks

Here's the clutch: Dodge Cummins Clutch Kit fits Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 - 05-101.5

The clutch is the ONE place you can not go cheap if you plan on running that kind of HP and still tow heavy..... The Southbend OFE single disc is the clutch I would recommend for your use....unless you want to spend the money twice by wasting your money on a cheap clutch the first time

This is why I will be going with the Valair dual disc!

I agree with Lary Ellis....My minimal upgrades were slipping my clutch pretty bad, even though it did have over 220k on it at the time of replacement. When I pulled it out the clutch face had very minimal wear on it...it was the pressure plate that wasn't holding. Anywho....I went with the SouthBend MU1947 Con OFE and it has been a great all around clutch. Very grabby for 2nd gear take-offs but other than that...I'd do it again if need be. Paid a very reasonable price for it as well!!

Spend the money, get a ValAir Nodular Ceramic Dual Disc and don't look back.
