Phoenix Dodge dealers SUCK!!
I've read all about Mods that don't affect warrantee. Specifically the cool air intake and cool blue hose. Every Dodge dealer I talk to is nervous or scared and doesn’t sell anything and wont give any advice.
"Don't change a thing, your truck should be OK as is".
Does anybody in the Phoenix area know of a good dealer that has a decent service dept?
I tow a fifthwheel up to the rim and am tired of feathering the throttle.
sorry for the rant.......

I've had some luck at Avondale. I bought mine used at Bill Luke and the reverse synchro was bad. Luke jerked me around so badly, I'll NEVER go back there! After some argueing, Avondale fixed it and did a good job. I know they sell aftermarket air filters at their parts and I think they sell chips too. I've asked their parts guy about that stuff and they seem to be reasonable about mods. Good luck! Craig

I bought my 01 used in the autoplex by I10. I believe its just before the IKEA. You can see all the dealerships next to the interstate. I was talking to the salesman about modded diesels. He didnt seem to be against it. Might be a dealership to talk to.

2500CTD, That is Tempe Dodge, I took my truck there to get my high idle turned on and they had no clue what I was talking about, and they also made me make an appointment to come back when their "diesel guy" would be able to see what I was talking about. Needless to say I never went back. Took mine to Earnhardt Dodge on Az ave. They seem okey. Even though they charged me $27 for 2 minutes work!!!!

Power Dodge I17 & Bell - they have a pretty solid service dept with a lot of aftermarket goodies. They sell intakes, exhausts, superchips,...I bought my exhaust (Borla), intake trueflow (I know neither of these are widely used by people on this site, but I've been very happy with them), Nitto Tires, guages (Di Procol),bilsteen 5100 shocks...I've been very happy with the stuff they put on, and they can get anything you want. In regards to service, they state they won't cover the power boxes, but they have no problem with intakes, exhusts, lift kits,...in the end, i'm confident they'd sell me out if STAR refused reimbursement, but otherwise I believe they'd look the other way.

Yes Tempe, Ok Well I bought my truck around july 94 IIRC. When I first got in Az I bought a Dakota at Earnhardt, On AZ ave, up but the costco. Was an ok dealer. I'm pretty sure the guys I dealt with at Tempe arent there anymore. The guys I talked to didnt mind mods. Oh well.

Thanks for the replys. Tempe Dodge told me straight up "NO MODS". Chapman Dodge gave me a wink and said "what they don't know, wont hurt them"
I'll look into some of the other sugestions. Thanks!
