Pharmaceutical Grade Acetone
can someone tell me if there is any truth to adding "Pharmaceutical Grade Acetone" to our tanks will/can yeild horse power gains and fuel economy?

I read alot about this on line. I think its like the 2- stroke oil in our fuel debate. Personally I wouldn't put acetone in my diesel, not saying it is not contained in some of the conditioners/ cleaners available, but at full strength I won't take the chance of ruining something in the expensive CR system.

i have a L10 cummins in one of my dump trucks every so often after it sits for a few days it runs like crap think an injector or 2 are hanging. i put 91% alcohol from wal mart in it and it fixes the problem and runs a little better. pretty cheap 2.50 for a quart bottle. could try that

paramacutical acetone is veryyyy high in octane.some say it helps in diesels.i use acetone in all my gas stuff,lawnmowers,quads etc,i put some in the wifes car and didnt tell her,she told me somthing was wrong with the gas gauge,wasnt moving haha,addedalmost 200km to the tank,it does work on gas,i tried it in my dodge and didnt notice anthing good or bad

Acetone is a strong solvent and will dissolve many types of plastics. Wear wear levels (less lubricity) through the roof and attacks all sorts of other parts besides the pumps and injectors.
