You cash the money order, they want you to send back some money to them, 2 weeks later the money order/check bounces, bank collects the money back. You also have to pocket out whatever you sent back to the jackos. They get free money....been there, but haven't done that. Makes me pretty toasty....

I never buy anything from Ebay. I may look around but that is about the extent of what I will do. Even if I look on the classifieds here the seller needs to have at least over 100 or so post unless I have seen there posts before. Another thing, I will pay 685 for a new Smarty before I pay 600 for a used one........It's worth 85 bucks for piece of mind.........

i hate FRAUDULENT ******** but our justice system is messed up. Ive only lost $300 on the internet to date and am mad about it.Life goes on. I actually can see why lots of people do scam because even though i wouldnt do it its worth it because you cant get caught and if you do get caught nothing happens.

Just like a while ago i ordered ROCKBAND for xbox 360 on ebay. The price seemed a bit too good to be true but I bought it anyways. So i waited and waited for the bill so i could pay. Then i got an email from him saying what total price is.Then i got 5 more emails from different people saying i owe the same amount. I didnt know who was him or was real?I got several more emails from different addresses totalling 11 different email addys in all. So i got scared and didnt pay. Will the dumb thing was he got ebay to give me a strike on my account. They said I desserve an "UNPAID STRIKE" and i said cow poop. I would of payed him but how could I trust him when he sent me total with 11 different email addys. If you ask me ebay are scammers themselves.

I've heard of a few people getting screwed over even when using paypal. I've sold of few things on ebay in the past. All of the items went down south. My preferred payment was certified check or money order, in my correspondence with the buyer I always stated that when the payment clears, THEN I ship the item.
Also, in the US, I thought that using the US postal service to commit fraud was a federal offence ? If you have the shipping address, why not just sick the FED's on them ?

Well the good news is that I received my Smarty Jr today. Phew.. Still makes you wonder why he got evicted from Ebay. He won't say. Oh well. Some things are better purchased not on Ebay I guess. Sounds like a lot of others have had bad transactions. I will have to find the classified area on here and search there next time also. Try to trust people most aren't bad but like megaboom said in general people suck sometimes. I always try to be a good person and the whole do on to others as you would have done to you. Some people need to think that before they do things like these scams. Well off to do an install....
