if you tell Dave at Goerend what you plan on doing, he will build a tranny that will more than hold up to what you do, he listens, and then builds..... does not just throw shelf parts at it and say thanks for your money, goodbye.

Open the inspection port and see if there are any flexplate pieces or metal floating around...you will be able to check the flex plate for fault. KS

Ok, I ended up finding a reputable builder very close to me which was a huge plus cause in case of problems I can go right to his shop. Tourist Transmission in Salt Lake. Worked directly with the owner. Got a tranny that was dynoed for 1200 ft lbs. and saved me at least $1500 compared to anyone else. Now I'm not gonna tell anyone to go get one from these guys and go hook to a sled and give 'er hell cause I've only had it for a week but so far it's awesome!! My TST got mailed back for a couple software issues, it should be back soon. Until then I borrowed my bro's Smarty.... On level seven yesterday without a hiccup, going with SW #9 today My bro might have to pry this Smarty out of my cold dead hands though! The power is great but the smoothness of delivery is what is gets me. I gotta get me one!!
