I park in a 6'8" garage. I could only go to a 33" tire with no leveling kit. If I had clearance lights, they would hit. I didnt drive my truck for a week cause I was affraid it would hit the garage. the antenna barely swipes the cross bars in the garage. The 2" level kit would lift the mid section about 1" and 35" tires would be 1" more so I would be sitting at about 6'10" with a leveling kit and 315s.

I don't go into 99% of the garages around here because of height issues. Even if it says 7' 2" I don't trust their measurements. I have a scratch on the roof from one of the "if you hit this turn around" pipes that I hit. I can use the garage at work (it says 8') but of course TECHNICALLY I'm overweight.... they say a limit of 6000lbs! Screw that. At the local Metro station garage I park in the "van accessable" area which is almost 8' too, for handicapped vans.

alzheimer's correction.

Ok I don't know what I was thinking. I guess memory is one of the first things to go. The 7'1"+ I stated above is not correct, that was the last lifted chevy 4x4 I had. My truck with 2" leveling kit and 315s is only 81"(6'9") to high point of cab. CB antenna does go another 16" higher though.

I think I am going to go with some 1.5 inch spacers up front and some 35-12.5-18 inch Toyo M/T's.

We'll see

I still have to buy the truck, but I've already got one optioned out the way I want in my head... All I have to do is sell my 1500. Anyone interested in a 2004 1500 . Give me 2 months.

Trim your header board on your garage.
I removed mine, then adjusted the door to come down further.
I got about 3 extra inches in height of the door.

I don't think the hospital would be happy if I started trimming their parking garage
