Pacific Performance Engineering
Well, time has proven to provide to those that wait. I have held off from the bug too long and would like to know if anyone has used the new computer programmer from Pacific Performance Engineering?
The produce is the Xcellerator, I see it is also mentioned in the 4Wheel Off Road June issue. I like the idea of the reprogrammer versus the added box, any real world users out there?

There are a few users over on TDR that I have seen..."moolie" most notably. You would probably do good to search for his old posts concerning the programmer. He has posted a couple of times that by itself, he wasn't impressed with the dyno numbers it produced. He is making good power with it stacked though. I don't remember seeing him report any "problems" with it. It seems to function OK.
ATS has been pushing the Xcellerator for the Duramax for a long time now and recently started carrying the Cummins version. If you can weed through it, check out what the Duramax guys have to say about it at http://dieselplace.com/forum/index.php . Seems they are not too happy with it and has caused some problems in the past.

There is alot of BS floating around about the PPE "Hot" programmer. It DOES NOT correct the speedo for tire size like the advertise BTW. I would suggest the BDDL or the "Crazy Larry" version if you want a Downloader with a bunch of power. The Bully Dog products are more tested and they actually stand behind their stuff. PPE is busy posting crappy videos that don't even show dyno #'s...it's all smoke and mirrors...
