Yes 06BlueTank. The plug in the elbow of the exhaust brake is for a pyro. If you want to put one in there and not have to deal with tapping your manifold you can put it where the plug is, just remember it will read about 200 degrees cooler than if it is in the manifold because it would be post turbo.

Thanks for your help I think i'm just going to go head and drop the turbo and tap a hole I want it to be accurate as posible I might as well do it right the first time.You know i've heard its 200* and i've heard 500*

You dont need to drop the turbo, just drill and tap the hole with the engine running and the exhaust brake on.
Filings come out at record speeds so were a faceshield and long sleeves
